Sailor Bear Condo's owners are long-time Baylor University alumni who remember when this 1950s retro bear design was the college's mascot. Their purpose in creating this warm and inviting space was to provide guests with a spa-like zen feeling during their stay. Simplistic in lines and colors, Sailor Bear provides a calm and serene atmosphere for sojourners after a long day enjoying Waco's energetic and inspiring cultural scene.

In addition to the convenient location, Sailor Bear Hideaway is conveniently located in downtown Waco within walking distance of The Magnolia Silo District and some of the best restaurants & shopping Waco has to offer. We are just across the street from the Dr. Pepper Museum, walking distance to the new Foster Pavilion Center, about 1.2 miles from Baylor University and McLane Stadium, and only 15 minutes to Waco Surf. Fable Bookshop & Cafe is in the building attached to ours, and it is a very popular place for locals and tourists.
Kids will love The Mayborn Museum on the Baylor campus, Cameron Park Zoo, and Waco Mammoth National Monument.
Cameron Park hiking trails are a must for the outdoor enthusiast. Likewise, kayak rentals are stationed along the Brazos River just a few blocks away from the condo.
The Silo District Trolley is free and runs every 15 minutes. The trolley's route makes it easy to get to and from Magnolia Market, and also provides access to other popular shopping, dining, and art venues in the downtown area. The "4th and Franklin" trolley stop is super close. Just exit the building, turn left on 4th St., and walk 1 block to Franklin St.
This luxury loft condo is located in the Behrens Building in downtown Waco. Built in 1913 for the Behrens Drug Company, this fireproof concrete building survived the devastation of the 1953 Waco tornado and is now offered as luxury condos. Truly unique in preserving all the industrial charm and characteristics of the past, flawlessly blending old factory details with modern amenities and design concepts. It is a stay unlike any other!

Can sleep up to 8. We also have a queen-size Murphy bed and trundle bed downstairs.
A ramp at the back of the building makes for easy access, and there are two elevators inside the building.
Roku TVs in the living room and both bedrooms.
Families can also use the Pack 'n Play that is available.
This is a downtown location. Occasionally, you will hear the train two blocks away and other noises associated with a downtown area. Earplugs and white noise machines are provided.
