Modern Downtown Domicile - Heart of Downtown Waco - Steps to the Silos

Our condo is located in the historic Behrens building, just a short walk from Magnolia Market, Dr. Pepper Museum, Waco Suspension Bridge, and only a mile from Baylor's campus. The building was constructed by the Clifton family for the Behrens Drug Company in 1913. It was built as a fire-proof, concrete structure to provide a spacious and safe working environment for employees. In the 1990s, it was converted into loft living spaces.

Our condo offers everything you would have in your own home. It features a fully stocked kitchen, coffee makers, new appliances, comfortable beds, a cozy living space, and a great view of the Silos.

Neighborhood Overview

Waco's vibrant Downtown Cultural District offers unique locally owned shops, restaurants, and more. It is home to museums, art galleries, public art, performance venues, as well as restaurants and bars serving locally produced food, wine, beer— even award-winning whiskey. You'll find numerous stores selling locally designed and manufactured art, crafts, home furnishings, clothing, and jewelry. Additionally, we have a free trolley for your convenience.

reviews.

Donnie’s place was a beautiful( mid century modern escape. It was spacious and filled with natural light, just a few minutes walking to local spots, such as the silos and a handful of coffee shops and restaurants. As a bonus, it’s located right above a local book store. The place was beautiful, it had a tub for soaking and maximum relaxation and I hope to stay here again soon.

Terrific place located close to many great spots and quiet. Well done redeveloped warehouse space and nicely appointed. Walking distance to some of the best shops and restaurants.

Donnie's urban industrial condo is an absolute treat. The place is very well appointed (nice glassware, bedding, kitchen/cooking tools, etc.), a very short walk to the silos, and had a charming comfortable vibe that we loved. Everything was very clean, and almost felt brand new when we arrived! I would definitely recommend staying here.

This place is even more beautiful and just as comfortable and well appointed as the listing photos. You are literally blocks from everything. You can walk to many places and if you are adventuresome, the city share scooters can get you everywhere else for pennies. We loved the little bookshop downstairs as a nice bonus. The loft is spotless, everything you touch is comfortable and high end, like you would want in your own home. The layout of the place is amazingly spacious and having two full bathrooms made for easy getting ready for the days, in the mornings. There isn’t a single dated item, scratch or scuff, or uncomfortable bed or seat on the house. We appreciated having a stocked kitchen as we cooked breakfast each morning and a couple of dinners during our stay. Donnie couldn’t have been more hospitable, with the perfect amount of communication so we were well taken care of, while still giving us our privacy. We had a great time in Waco but much of it had to do with choosing this perfect home base. We will be back!!

lisa - july 2020

This place has a very convenient, safe and cool feel to it. We parked and walked pretty much everywhere during our stay. The bed was very comfortable as was the nicely appointed living room. If you have kids they will love the second bedroom with the interesting bunk layout and you will love having a separate bathroom so you don’t have to share.

rusty - september 2020

Great space for our family to enjoy Waco! Plenty of sleeping space with a cool triple bunk bed. Master bed and with 2 bathrooms and a spacious open living room/kitchen and felt at home with nothing lacking. Can’t wait until we can stay here again!
