This stunning property is truly one of a kind. One of the five original cotton gins in Levi has been converted into a lovely home. The gin sits on a sprawling 3.77 acres with a tree-lined creek on one side. The home is a perfect mix of old and new, with original tin and new stone, making it a magnificent, eye-popping house.
The space:
The home is split into two sections: the mother-in-law suite and the main home. The old scale can still be seen between the two units. The mother-in-law suite is a 1-bed, 1-bath unit with a full kitchen and living room, perfectly matching the main house. The main house is spectacular! The cement floors and granite countertop create a stunning downstairs area. The extra-large bar allows for plenty of seating or places to place large amounts of food for family gatherings. Upstairs, there is a private reading area and three bedrooms. The master bedroom is upstairs and contains a small office, a large closet, dual vanities, and a spacious shower. The outside covered deck is a great place for morning coffee or evening drinks while enjoying the view of this wonderful property.

The mother-in-law suite has a queen size bed and a comfortable pull out sectional couch.

The Levi Gin is a short term rental property. The home and second living quarters are for guest use. The event tent and the Chapel are restricted areas and for events only. Any guest using these areas without written permission from D&L Vacation Rentals or one of its staff will be charged an extra fee to be determined by D&L Vacation Rentals.

We stayed over the Thanksgiving break with 2 families. The kitchen was huge and easy to maneuver around with lots of people working away in different areas. We were never in each other’s way. Our city kids loved running around the property and exploring the creek. The host was great and very responsive when we needed something. There are lots of indoor games for all ages and a basket ball hoop outside. We never got bored.

First time staying at the Levi Gin was a great experience. Very clean and private. 20 minutes away from downtown Waco was a perfect spot. Would recommend to anyone looking for a spot near Waco or for just a simple weekend get away.

The Levi Gin did not disappoint!! My family decided to stay at an Airbnb over Christmas. My husband and I have 5 adult children and some with kids and all gathered here for 3 full days. We immediately felt at home. Great location and house! It had everything we needed for a long stay over the holidays!! Fully stocked kitchen! The owners went above and beyond to help us have the best experience possible. Highly recommend everything about this place 5 stars!!! We didn’t really need anything, but the few questions we had, they responded within minutes. Hosting family Christmas in a strange location could have been stressful but not here. It was literally perfect!!

We were looking for a comfortable place to meet for the weekend with our adult children and their friends. This place was perfect! Close enough to all the amenities Waco has to offer while still maintaining a country feel. My wife and I stayed in the guest house while the adult kids enjoyed the big house. VERY comfortable for everyone! Hope we can do this again!
