"This is one BEAR DEN you won't mind visiting. Come enjoy this cozy and comforting space after an exciting day exploring Waco's Bear Country.
The space:
Location is everything! We are just about 1.5 miles from Baylor University, three blocks from Magnolia, and six blocks from the new sports complex (Foster Pavilion). Our guests staying in this building often walk to the games at McLane Stadium, which is 1.5 miles away. Additionally, we are conveniently situated next door to Fable Bookstore and Cafe. Fable and the Behrens Lofts are actually adjoining buildings.
Our condo is located on South Fourth Street & Mary St in downtown Waco, Texas. The Behrens Lofts now occupy what was once known as the Behrens Drug Company building. The structure was completed in 1913 and served as the headquarters for the Behrens Drug Company. It was constructed as a fire-proof, concrete structure with an emphasis on ample working space and employee safety. As a testament to its significance in Waco's history, Behrens survived the 1953 Waco tornado with little damage. In 1990, the fifth, sixth, and seventh floors were added as the building was converted to loft living spaces.

A ramp at the back of the building makes for easy access, and there are two elevators inside the building.
The coffee machine is a Keurig Duo, and we do provide pods, sweeteners, and creamer for your stay.
The living room has a smart TV with streaming apps.
The bedroom has a 42-inch smart Roku TV with streaming apps.
Families - we do have a Pack 'n Play.
This is a downtown location. Occasionally, you will hear the train two blocks away and other noises associated with a downtown area.
Once entering the condo, there is a flight of stairs that leads to the bedroom, bath, kitchen, and living area. The laundry room is downstairs.

Modern, comfortable, and convenient! Many added touches that made us feel welcomed and at home as we visited our Baylor Bear.
Decorations and snacks from local vendors made our stay feel extra special.
Location is ideal. Many activities for parents and families within the condo and within walking distance of the condo.

Location Location Location!!!
We were in town for a football game. We always like to stay in unique type places so we figured a loft type space would be fun. This place is a renovated loft in the historical building right in the middle of downtown Waco. It’s so close to everything! We were able to walk to the game, pay a visit to the silos (5 minute walk!) enjoy a coffee in the bookstore below and drop into a few bars and restaurants. We never had to start our car!
The place is nicely and comfortably furnished with special touches like coffee, snacks and a sound machine at night for a relaxing sleep. Our host Donnie was available for the few questions we had. Check in was a breeze. Loved the full size kitchen.
If you are visiting Waco- this is the building and place you want to stay in.
